Özel Eğitimde Ebeveyn Hak Savunuculuğu: Sistematik Bir Derleme

Öz

Bu çalışma özel eğitimde ebeveyn hak savunuculuğu kavramına yönelik yapılan bir sistematik derleme çalışmasıdır. Çalışma kapsamında beşi nicel yöntem, sekizi nitel yöntem ve üçü karma yöntem kullanılarak oluşturulmuş, toplamda 16 araştırma makalesi incelenmiştir. Araştırmalar araştırma deseni, katılımcı gurubu, amaç, sonuç ve öneriler bağlamında derlenmiştir. Katılımcı gurubun genellikle ebeveynlerden oluştuğu görülmektedir. Okul ve eğitim uzmanlarının ebeveyn hak savunuculuğuna bakış açısının bulunduğu çalışmaların sınırlılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda ebeveyn hak savunuculuğu, özel gereksinimli bireyin eğitim desteklerine ulaşmasında fayda sağlamakla birlikte ebeveyni psikolojik olarak etkilemekte olduğu görülmektedir. Ülkemizde ise ebeveyn hak savunuculuğu kavram olarak belirtilmese de ebeveyn hak savunuculuğunun yapılmasını içeren hükümler bulunmaktadır. Ulusal alan yazında ebeveyn hak savunuculuğuna yönelik çalışmalar oldukça sınırlıdır. Savunuculuğun uygulamalardaki mevcut durumunun araştırılması ve yasal olarak kavramsallaştırılması bu derleme çalışmasının önemli sonucu ve önerisi arasındadır.
