Vertical Farming
Abstract
Vertical farming aiming to shift agricultural production from rural areas to urban and bringing a different approach to traditional farming in order to grow up agricultural products using different materials and systems. New agricultural technologies are examined and vertical farming has formed the basis of this study in the urban environment being a large scale agriculture method in the name of controlled environmental or building integrated agriculture. Definition, reasons and advantages of vertical farming are executed and the situation of it among sustainable farming is discussed herein.
