Öğrencilerin Mantıksal Düşünme Yeteneklerinin Bazı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Öz

Öğrenci başarısında ve kavramları yapılandırmada önemli rol oynayan mantıksal düşünme yeteneği ayrıca günlük yaşamda karşılaşılan problemlerin çözümünü de kolaylaştırmaktadır Öğrencilerin hem akademik başarılarındaki hem de günlük hayattaki problemleri çözmedeki farklılıkları mantıksal düşünme yeteneğini etkileyen bazı değişkenler olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır Bu çalışmada ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin mantıksal düşünme yeteneklerinin cinsiyet yaş ve okul türü değişkenlerinden etkilenip etkilenmediği araştırılmıştır Çalışmaya yaşları 16 ile 19 arasında değişen üç farklı okul türünde öğrenim gören 586 ortaöğretim öğrencisi katılmıştır Öğrencilerin mantıksal düşünme yeteneklerini belirlemek için “Mantıksal Düşünme Yeteneği Testi” kullanılmış ve toplanan verilerin analizi için tek yönlü varyans analizi ANOVA gerçekleştirilmiştir Çalışmada elde edilen bulgulara göre öğrencilerin mantıksal düşünme yeteneklerinin cinsiyet ve okul türüne bağlı olarak anlamlı bir şekilde farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir Yaş değişkeninin ise öğrencilerin mantıksal düşünme yeteneklerine etkisi olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır
