Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Stres Azaltmaya Yönelik Bir Program: Bilinçli Farkındalık
Bu çalışmanın amacı, stresi azaltmaya yönelik bilinçli farkındalık temelli terapi programı hazırlamak ve üniversite öğrencilerinde programın etkililiğini değerlendirmektir. Bu etkinin değerlendirilmesi için yarı deneysel bir yönteme başvurulmuş, kontrol grupsuz ön-test
son-test deneme modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, İstanbul’da çocuk gelişimi bölümü birinci ve ikinci sınıflarında öğrenim görmekte olan 29 öğrencinin katılımıyla gerçekleşmiştir. Sekiz
oturumdan oluşan 90 dakika süren programda, nefese odaklanma, farkındalık meditasyonu,
burada ve şimdiye dikkatli bir biçimde konsantre olmak, beden farkındalığı gibi bilinçli farkındalık yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Terapi programının değerlendirilmesinde katılımcıların
stres düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla “Algılanan Stres Ölçeği (ASÖ)” kullanılmıştır. Ölçme
araçları, çalışma grubuna program öncesinde ön-test, programın bitiminde ise son-test olarak
uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıra Testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizlerde, bilinçli farkındalık temelli terapi programı sonrasında çalışma grubundaki üniversite
öğrencilerinin stres düzeylerinin anlamlı düzeyde azaldığı saptanmıştır.
