The purpose of this study is to determine the needs for the Primary Life Studies curriculum according to the teachers’ opinion. Criterion sampling was used as a qualitative research sampling technique in the study. The working group constitutes 8 primary school teachers who have master or doctoral degree in Denizli. The data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with teachers. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, according to the opinions of teachers within the curriculum of Life Studies lesson, four themes; "Skills of living", "Effective Citizenship", "Differences" and "Values". The sub-themes of the theme of life skills are "Self-Care", "Effective Communication", "Information and Communication Technologies", "Practical Non School Nature Activities", "Play" and "Socialization". The sub-theme of effective citizenship is "Consciousness of Democracy", "Rights and Freedoms", "Consciousness for Living Together". The sub-themes of the theme of differences are "Individual", "Regional" and "Cultural". Values are defined as "Human Values" and "National Values".
