‹İnce barsak gastrointestinal stromal tümörü (GİST): Olgu sunumu

Öz

Gastrointestinal stromal tümörler, sindirim sisteminden (mide, ince barsak, mezenter, kolon, özofagus) kaynaklanan submukozal tümörlerdir. Gastrointestinal stromal tümörler en sık midede (%50-%70), ikinci sıklıkta ince barsakta (%20-%30) ve kalın barsakta ortaya çıkarlar (yaklaşık %10). Yaklaşık %50 oranında tanı konduğunda metastaz yapmış durumdadır ve en sık karaci¤er ve peritona metastaz yapar. Cerrahi, gastrointestinal stromal tümörler tanısını histolojik olarak doğrulamak için esas yöntemdir. Rezektabl gastrointestinal stromal tümörlerde cerrahi tedavideki temel hedef makroskopik olarak temiz cerrahi sınırlı rezeksiyon uygulamaktır. Bu olgu sunumunda kanlı dışkılama şikayeti ile başvuran bir hastada saptanan ince barsak gastrointestinal stromal tümörünün tanı ve tedavisini irdelemeyi amaçladık.

Small intestine gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST): Case report

Abstract

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors are submucosal tumors that originate from the digestive tract (stomach, small intestine, mesentery, colon, esophagus). Gastrointestinal stromal tumors appear most frequently in the stomach (50%-70%), followed by the small intestine (20%-30%) and large intestine (nearly 10%). These tumors are metastatic at the time of diagnosis. Metastases are most frequently found in the liver and peritoneum. Surgery is the main met-hod to confirm the GIST diagnosis histologically. In resectable gastrointesti-nal stromal tumors, the main goal of the surgery is to provide a macroscopi-cally clean surgical margin.
