“Cap-assisted mucosectomy” technique for endoscopic resection of a gastric neuroendocrine tumor

Öz

Gastric neuroendocrine tumors are rare, but increasing in incidence. Previously, surgical treatment was regarded as the treatment of choice. However, endoscopic mucosal resection has become a routine treatment modality for lesions smaller than 2 cm. We describe a case with gastric neuroendocrine tumor, which was treated with cap-assisted mucosectomy technique.

Gastrik nöroendokrin tümörün keple mukozektomi yapılarak çıkarılması

Öz

Midenin nöroendokrin tümörleri nadirdir, ancak sıklığı giderek artmaktadır. Önceleri cerrahi rezeksiyon tedavi seçenekleri arasında ön plandayken özellikle 2 cm'den küçük tümörlerde endoskopik mukozal rezeksiyon rutin tedavi seçeneği haline gelmiştir. Biz keple mukozektomi yapılarak tedavi edilen bir olguyu sunuyoruz.
