Community Centers, which was established with the initiative of Mustafa Kemal and has many activities as an education and cultural center, was opened for the first time in fourteen centers on February 19, 1932. Urgup Community Center was opened two years later on February 22, 1934. The subject of this study is to reveal and evaluate the activities of the Community Center opened in Urgup, which is an important historical and cultural settlement. In this article; It is aimed to reveal the contributions of Urgup Community Center to the delivery of the Turkish Revolution to the public and to the enlightenment of the citizens. In our article prepared within this framework, Urgup Community Center and its activities were examined in the light of archival documents. Urgup Community Center started its activities with representation, sports, social aid and arts branches. By 1950, the Urgup Community Center had all its branches except the state private teaching institutions and courses. According to our research, while sports, library and publishing, representation and art branches of Urgup Community Center are active, not much work has been done in other branches. Despite the limited budget and impossibilities of the Urgup Community Center, conferences and representations made it possible to tell the public about Atatürk's reforms. In addition, the courses opened in the Community Center, the sports and cultural activities carried out contributed to the education and cultural development of the citizens. Urgup Community Center, gathered the people of the country under its roof between 1934-1951, tried to ensure the integrity of the city and the villagers and to meet the socio-cultural needs of the people.
