Certain urban spaces, which are important in the historical process of the city, are the most popular places of centralization for individuals who live in better conditions in the society and are called white-collar people. The city, which has been purified in a way as it will change in economic conditions during the gentrification process of urban spaces, has given a new dimension to the concept of social class by enabling the emerging desire for centralization. Thus, changing and centralizing urban spaces offer a suitable environment for high-income individuals; It obliged people with low income to adapt their own lives to the life of the city. In other words, gentrification of the city is under the name of "urban transformation" by adopting certain policies; He aimed to purify the places he had chosen and eventually did not leave a space for the former owners of the city to live. In this context, the study examines the urban transformation project process and its results, which started in Kayseri Sahabiye District in 2015, in relation to capitalism and the phenomenon of gentrification of the city. The findings collection process of the study was carried out using observation and in-depth interview methods. The aim of the research is; to reveal that there is a meaningful link between the functioning process and results of the Sahabiye District urban transformation project and the phenomena such as gentrification of the city, capitalism, alienation and displacement, and that this link has an effect on the reconstruction of social classes.
