In this study, the relationship between driver behavior and forms of religiousness was investigated in the case of Kayseri. The study, in which the car drivers in the city center were sampled, was carried out in a quantitative desing. In this context, a questionnaire consisting of socio-demographic information, Driver Behavior Questionnaire (DBQ) and Revised Muslim Religious Orientation Scale (MROS-R) were applied to 463 people. In the study, driver behaviors were handled as positive and negative driver behaviors. Religiousness, on the other hand, has been examined as a multidimensional concept within the framework of religious orientation and belief, worship, and effect dimensions of religiousness. The obtained data were analyzed and interpreted with descriptive statistics, t-test and correlation analysis technique. As a result of the analysis, significant relationships were found between driver behaviors and religious orientation styles. While driver behaviors differ according to the ritual of praying in traffic, which we include in the practical dimension of religiousness; it did not differ according to the presence of religious symbols in the vehicle. In addition, driver behaviors differed according to attitudes about traffic accidents and it was seen that being fatalistic about accidents was effective in committing violations. The findings were discussed on the basis of the relevant literature.
