İn order to be able to make an efflcient selection of salesmen there must be a well planned and well operated System for recruiting applicants. If recrııiting is done on a haphazard basis, a company runs the risk of enti-rely overlooking, or losing contact vvith good sources of pros-pective salespeople. The recruiting includes locating good sources of salesmen, contacting the recruits, and finally, maintain-ing a close relationship vvith the sources. Some suggested sources of salesmen are; the company itself, other companies. educatlonal institutions, advertisements, voluntary applicants, employment agencies, labor pool novv underemployed and gro-up organizatione.
