Öğretmen Eğitimi Bağlamında Bir Öğrenme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemi Olarak Portfolyo

Öz

Portfolyo, yapılan işlerin ve bu işlerle ilgili belgelerin toplanarak bireysel olarak düzenlendiği, belli bir süreç içindeki bilgi ve beceri gelişimini gösteren dosya olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu makalede portfolyonun tanımı, türleri, öğretmen adaylarının eğitiminde kullanımının kuramsal temelleri, yararları ve amaçlarıyla birlikte incelenmiş, portfolyo geliştirme süreci, içeriği ve değerlendirmesi hakkında bilgi verilmiş, Türkiye’de ve dünyada bu konuyla ilgili yapılan çalışmalardan örnekler verilmiştir. Son olarak, öğretmen eğitiminde portfolyo kullanımının Türk Eğitim Sistemine katkılarının neler olabileceği tartışılmıştır. Çalışmada kullanılan araştırma modeli, mevcut durumun belirlenmesi ve analiz edilmesine yönelik kuramsal analitik araştırma modelidir. Öğretmen eğitimi alanında portfolyo kullanımının giderek yaygınlaştığı, son yıllara kadar yalnızca bireysel kullanıma uygun olduğu tartışılan portfolyonun, bireyin kariyerini ilerletme, veri toplama ve değerlendirmeyi sağlamada, eğitim aracı olarak kullanılma ve etkin ölçüm araçlarını içerme gibi pek çok avantaja sahip olduğu ulaşılan sonuçlar arasındadır

IN THE CONTEXT OF TEACHER TRAINING, LEARNING AND EVALUATION METHOD PORTFOLIO

Öz

Portfolio can be defined as a file showing the development of knowledge and ability in a particular process and the works have done and collected documents related to these works held indivually. In this article, the definition of portfolio, the kinds of portfolio, theoretical principals (basic), benefits and purposes of the portfolio usage in teacher training are researched, the process of portfolio development, the content and evaluation of portfolio are informed, the examples are given about the studies in Turkey and in the world related to this topic. Finally it is discussed what the contributions of the portfolio usage in teacher training can be in Turkish Education System. The study model used in this study is an analytical and theoretical study for the analysis and determination of current situation.The use of portfolio is increasingly becoming widespread in the field of teacher education. Although until recently it has been discussed that portfolio is only suitable for individual use, it was achieved that it has many advantages such as individual's career development, providing data collection and evaluation, being used as an educational tool and including effective measurement tools
