First Record of Family Celaenopsidae Berlese (Acari: Mesostigmata) From Turkey

Öz

Celaenopsis badius (C.L. Koch 1839) specimens collected in bark and rotten wood of Salix sp., Quercus sp. from north-eastern Turkey which were described as a new record to Turkish fauna. Females and males of C. badius are presented herein with both descriptions and original SEM photos. Thereby, this is the first record from Turkey of the family Celaenopsidae as well.
