In this study, Zetzellia mali (Ewing), a predator mite, has been determined from the samples collected in the Kelkit Valley. The morphological characters having taxonomical importance of the mite species identified, their measurements and original drawings, and habitats and distributions on Turkey and world have been given.

Bu çalışmada, Kelkit Vadisi’nden toplanan örneklerden predatör bir akar türü olan Zetzellia mali (Ewing) tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen akar türünün taksonomik önem taşıyan morfolojik karakterleri, ölçüm ve çizimleri, yaşama yerleri ile Türkiye ve Dünyadaki yayılışları verilmiştir.
