Yüksek Teknolojili Ürün İhracatı ve Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırımların Ekonomik Büyümeye Etkisi: E7 Ülkeleri Üzerine Ampirik Bir Analiz

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ekonomik büyümenin sağlanmasında yüksek teknolojili ürün ihracatı ile doğrudan yabancı yatırımların etkilerinin ortaya çıkarılmasıdır. Bu kapsamda, yüksek teknolojili ürün ihracatı ve doğrudan yabancı yatırımların ekonomik büyüme üzerine etkisi, 1992-2019 zaman aralığında E7 ülkeleri için incelenmiştir. Analiz aracı olarak Panel Otoregresif Dağıtılmış Gecikme (ARDL) modeli ve Dumitrescu-Hurlin Panel Nedensellik testi kullanılmıştır. Ampirik bulgulara göre, Panel ARDL testinde yüksek teknolojili ürün ihracatının ekonomik büyümeyi doğrudan yabancı yatırımlara göre daha fazla artırdığı sonucuna ulaşılırken; Dumitrescu-Hurlin panel nedensellik analizi sonucuna göre, ekonomik büyüme ve yüksek teknolojili ürün ihracatı ile ekonomik büyüme ve doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar arasında çift yönlü bir nedensellik tespit edilmiştir.

The Effects of High-Tech Product Export and Foreign Direct Investments on Economic Growth: An Empirical Analysis on E7 Countries

Öz

The aim of the study is to find out the effects of high-tech product exports and foreign direct investments in ensuring economic growth. In this context, the effects of high-tech product exports and foreign direct investments on economic growth were examined for E7 countries, using the panel data in the period of 1992-2019. We use Panel ARDL model and Dumitrescu-Hurlin Panel Causality test as estimation methods. As a result of the study, it was concluded that FDI increased economic growth more than FDI in the Panel ARDL test. According to the results of Dumitrescu-Hurlin Panel Causality analysis, a bidirectional causality has been reached between economic growth and exports of high-tech products, and economic growth and foreign direct capital
