Swanson Bakım Kuramı: Hemşirelik Araştırmalarında Kullanımı

Öz

Hemşirelik bilim ve sanata dayalı, kuramsal ve uygulamalı bir meslektir. Tüm profesyonel disiplinler için kuramların ve modellerin kullanımı oldukça önemlidir. Mesleki gücün artırılması da alana özgü bilgi birikiminin araştırmalarda kullanılarak artırılması ile mümkündür. Bu derleme Swanson Bakım Kuramı’nın açıklanması, çalışmalarda kullanımı ve literatürde bu kurama dayalı olarak yapılan çalışmaların incelenmesi amacı ile veri tabanlarından yapılan literatür taraması sonucunda oluşturulmuştur. Yapılan araştırmalara rehberlik etmesi nedeniyle hemşirelik uygulamalarında kuram ve modellerin yeri oldukça önemlidir. Kuram ve modellerin kullanımı, hemşirelik bakım ve uygulamalarının sistematize edilmesini ve hemşirenin bütüncül bakım vermesini sağlamaktadır Bu kapsamda da hemşirelik kuramları arasında yer alan Swanson’un Bakım Kuramı hemşirelikte araştırma, eğitim ve klinik uygulamada çeşitli durumlarda kullanım için değerlendirilmiş, araştırmalarda kullanılmış ve onaylanmıştır. Swanson Bakım Kuramı; gebelik kaybı yaşayan grupların yanında, hipertansiyon, endokardit, vaskülit gibi problemler yaşayan hasta gruplarında da etkili bir şekilde uygulanabilen bir kuram olduğu görülmektedir. Yapılan literatür incelemesinde ülkemizde Swanson Bakım kuramının kullanımının sınırlı oldıığu görülmekle birlikte çıkış noktası gebelik kayıpları olan Swanson Bakım Kuramı’nın farklı hasta gruplarında da başarılı bir şekilde uygulandığı görülmüştür. Ülkemizde de Swanson Bakım Kuramının hasta bakımında kullanılarak değerlendirilmesi ve sonuçlarının paylaşımının sağlanması önerilmektedir.

Swanson Caring Theory: Use in Nursing Research

Nursing is a theoretical and applied profession based on science and art. The use of theories and models is very important for all professional disciplines. Increasing the professional power is possible by increasing the knowledge of the field by using it in researchesThis review was made as a result of the literature review made from databases in order to explain the Swanson Care Theory, its use in studies and to examine the studies based on this theory in the literature. A review was created as a result of the literature review from databases. The place of theories and models in nursing practices is very important because they guide the researches. The use of theories and models provides the systematization of nursing care and practices and the holistic care of the nurse. In this context, Swanson's Care Theory, which is among the nursing theories, has been evaluated for use in research, education and clinical practice in nursing, has been used and approved in researches. Swanson Care Theory; It is seen that there is a theory that can be applied effectively in patient groups with problems such as hypertension, endocarditis and vasculitis, as well as groups with pregnancy loss. In the literature review, it is seen that the use of Swanson Care theory is limited in our country, but it has been observed that the Swanson Care Theory, which is the starting point of pregnancy losses, has been successfully applied in different patient groups. In our country, it is recommended to use Swanson Care Theory in patient care and to share the results.
