SOSYAL MEDYA KULLANIMI YOLUYLA SİYASAL KATILIM: BİR SİSTEMATİK DERLEME ÇALIŞMASI

Öz

Bu araştırmada sosyal medya kullanımı aracılığıyla siyasal katılımı inceleyen araştırmaların sistematik derleme yöntemiyle sentezlenerek birleştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda Web of Science ve Scopus veri tabanları marifeti ile incelemesi yapılacak çalışmalara ulaşılmış, veri seçiminde amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklem 2012-2023 yılları arasında yayımlanan çalışmalardan oluşmaktadır. Makaleler aranırken political participation ve social media anahtar kelimeleri kullanılmıştır. Tespit edilen 143 makaleden 72'si ön inceleme sonrasında seçilmiş, daha sonra yapılan detaylı okuma sürecinde ise 41 makalenin doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak incelemenin amacı ile ilgili olduğu belirlenmiş ve bu makaleler çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları incelendiğinde görüş birliği olmamakla beraber ana eğilimin sosyal medya kullanımının siyasal katılımı olumlu yönde etkilediği görülmektedir.
