HASTANE BİLGİ VE YÖNETİM SİSTEMİNİN İMPLANT UYGULAMALARINA AİT VERİLERİNDEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ AMACIYLA İNCELENMESİ

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı Erciyes Üniversitesi DişHekimliği işlemlerini endikasyon, implant boy/çap, implant-üstürestorasyon tipi, implantasyon öncesi periodontaldeğerlendirme ve implant kaybı açısından Hastane Bilgive Yönetim isteminde (HBYS) yer alan verileri dikkatealarak değerlendirmek ve aynı zamanda mevcut sistemineksiklerini belirlemekti.Çalışmamızın materyalini Haziran 2007-Şubat 2012tarihleri arasında Erciyes Üniversitesi Diş HekimliğiFakültesi Ağız, Diş ve Çene Cerrahisi (ADÇC) vePeriodontoloji Klinikleri’ne implant tedavisi içinbaşvurmuş 1634 hasta oluşturmuştur. Veriler HBYS’deyer alan bilgilerin değerlendirilmesi yoluyla eldeedilmiştir. İncelememizin sonuçları 865’i kadın ve 769’uerkek olmak üzere 1634 hastaya toplam 4555 implantınuygulandığını ortaya koymuştur. İmplant uygulananhastaların yaklaşık yarısının (% 49), bunların daçoğunluğunun dişsizlik durumu bilinmemekle birlikte,periodontal tedavi görmediği ve her iki klinik için debenzer oranlarda dağılım gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.Mevcut Periodontoloji gerekse de ADÇC Klinikleri’nde Haziran2007-Şubat implantasyon işlemlerinin giderek artan bir ivmekazandığı ve implant-üstü restorasyonların çoğunun dasabit protezler olduğu görülmüştür.Elde edilen verilerışığında, otomasyon sistemine hastanın dişsizlik durumu,peri-implantitis tedavisi, kaybedilen implant sayısı/lokalizasyonu ve benzeri eksik parametrelerin ilaveedilmesi, daha geniş popülasyonlarda ileride yapılmasıplanlanan retrospektif değerlendirmelerin sağlıklı birşekilde gerçekleştirilmesine olanak tanıyacaktır

The Investigation of the Hospital Information and Management System (HIMS) for the Evaluation of the Data of Implantation Procedure

Öz

The aim of this study was to evaluate theimplantation procedures performed at ErciyesUniversity, Faculty of Dentistry, with regard toimplant indication, implant length and diameter, typeof implantexamination prior to implant surgery, implant losstaking into consideration the current HospitalInformation Management System (HIMS) data andalso to determine the inadequacies of the currentautomation system.The material of our study consistedof a total of 1634 patients (865 females; 769 males)who presented to the clinic of Periodontology andOral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at ErciyesUniversity, Faculty of Dentistry for implant treatment.The data were obtained by the evaluation of theinformation in the HIMS.Results of our investigationshowed that 4555 implants were inserted in a total of1634 patients (865 females; 769 males). Almost half ofthe implant-treated patients (49 %), despite the lack ofknowledge in terms of edentulism, did not receive anyperiodontal treatment and the distribution of thesepatients in both clinics were similar. Current datarevealed that an increasing trend toward implantationprocedures occurred over a period from June 2007 toFebruary 2012 in both Periodontology and (OMFS)clinics and implant supported restorations were mostlyin the form of fixed prosthesis.In the light of the dataobtained, It is clear that, the inclusion of the missinginformation (state of edentulism, treatment of periimplant disease, number and localization of implantloss etc.) into the HIMS will enable the clinicians toperform a more reliable retrospective investigation inlarger populations in the future
