Ankara Yöresi Tavuklarında Toxoplasma Gondii'nin Seroprevalansı

Öz

Bu çalışma, insan ve diğer hayvanlarla direkt temas halindeki tavuklarda Toxoplasma gondi antikarlarının araştırılması amacıyla, Ankara İli'nin Ayaş, Kızılcahamam, Elmadağ ve Çubuk ilçelerine bağlı köylerinde halk elinde, saha şartlarında bulunan toplam 266 adet tavuk üzerinde yapılmıştır. Bu tavuklardan kan örnekleri alınmış, alınan örnekler laboratuvarda oda ısısında 4000 rpm'de 10 dakika santrifüj edilerek serumları elde edilmiştir. Bu serumlar Toxoplasma antikarlarının tesbiti için, Latex Agglutination Testi ve Sabin-Feldman Dye Test ile incelenmişlerdir. Latex Agglutination Test sonuçlarına göre; 20 adedi (%7 .5) 1/64 ve yukarı titrelerde pozitif bulunmuştur. Bunlardan 1/64 dilüsyonda 9 adet (%3.4), 1/64 ve yukarı dilüsyonlarda ise ll adette (%4.1) pozitiflik saptanlış, 33 adet (%12.4) serumda da 1/32 dilüsyonda zayıf pozitiflik tesbit edilmiştir . Sabin-Feldman Dye Test sonuçlarına göre ise, 266 adet köy tavuğunun 39 adedi (%14.6) 1/16 ve yukarı titrelerde pozitif olarak değerlendirilmişlerdiL

The Seroprevalence of Toxoplasma gondii in Chicken of Ankara Region

Öz

This studywas performed in order to investigate the presence of the T.gondii antibodies in the chicken directly in contact with humans and other animals, for this purpose the blood samples were collected from totally 266 ebieken that are reared under field conditions in Ayaş, Kızılcahamam, Elmadağ and Çubuk districts of Ankara. Later, these blood samples were cenrifugated at 4000 rpm for 10 minutes for obtaining the serum from the samples . The sera were detected for the presence of toxoplasma antibodies using Latex Agglutination Test and Sabin-Feldman Dye Test. According to the LAT results, 20 of the sera (7 .5%) were found to be positive at 1/64 or higher dilutions. At the 1/64 dilution 9 sera (3.4%) and 11 sera gave positive results at higher dilutions . 33 of the sera showed weak positivity at 1/32 dilution. According to the Sabin-Feldman Dye Test results, 39 of the 266 ebieken reared at village conditions (14.6%) gave positive results at 1/16 or higher dilutions .
