Tavuklarda (Gallus Gallus Var. Domesticus)Megabakteriyel Proventriculitis

Bu çalışmada, tavuklarda (Gallus gallus var. domesticus), megabakteriyel proventriculitis olguları tanımlandı. Beş adet Ross Brown PM-3 tavuğundan izole edilen megabakteriler Gram ve periodik-asit-Schiff pozitif olup, %10 defibrine koyun kanlı agarda, 48 saat içerisinde, %5 C02 ve %80 rutubet ihtiva eden atmosferde 37 °C'de B hemolitik rough kolaniler oluşturdular. İzolatlar katalaz ve oksidaz testlerine pozitif reaksiyon göstermiş olup, bu izolatların üçüncü subkültivasyonu mümkün olmamıştır.

Megabacterial Proventriculitis in Hens ( Gallus Gallus var. Domesticus)

Öz

In this pa per, megabacterial proventriculitis in the hens (Gallus gallus var. domesticus) were described. Megabacteria isolated from five Ross Brown PM-3 hens were Gram and periodic-acid-Schiff positive. B haemolytic rotigh colonies were observed within 48 hours in 5% C02 and 80% humidity at 37 oc on blood agar with added 10% defibrinated sheep blood. Third subcultivation of these isolates which were positive to catalase and oxidase tests, could not be achieved.
