Koyunlarda intravajinal sünger uygulamasına bağlı vajinitis olgularından izole edilen aerobik bakteriler ve antibiyotik duyarlılıkları

Öz

Bu çalışmada, intravajinal sünger uygulamaları sonrası vajinitis oluşan koyunlardan, aerobik bakterilerin izolasyonu, identifikasyonu ve izole edilen etkenlerin antibiyotik duyarlılıklarının saptanması amaçlandı. Çalışmada, bakteriyel vajinitis infeksiyonlarından, 18 (%42.85) Escherichia coli, 15 (%35.71) Bacillus spp., 2 (%4.76) Klebsiella pneumonia, 4 (%9.52) Corynebacterium spp., 1 (%2.38) Pseudomonas aureginosa ve 2 (%4.76) Staphylococcus aureus izole ve identifiye edildi. İzole edilen etkenlerin yapılan antibiyogramları sonucunda ampisilin, penisilin, eritromisin ve amoksisiline yüksek oranda dirençli ve gentamisin, trimetoprim-sulfametoksazol, sefuroksim, nalidiksik asit, norfloksasin, tetrasiklin ve streptomisine ise duyarlı oldukları belirlendi. Sonuç olarak, sünger uygulamalarından sonra yaygın olarak gelişen vajinitis infeksiyonlarından E.coli ve Bacillus spp. etkenlerinin yüksek oranda izole edildiği, izole edilen etkenlerin ampisilin, penisilin, eritromisin ve amoksisiline dirençli olduğu, kullanılan diğer antibiyotiklere karşı genel olarak duyarlı oldukları kanısına varıldı.

Aerobic bacteria and their antibiotic susceptibility of sheep with vaginitis due to intravaginal sponges application

Öz

The aim of this study, was to isolate, identificate aerobic bacteria and determine antibiotic susceptibility of isolated agents in sheep with vaginitis due to intravaginal sponges application. In the study, 18 (42.85%) Escherichia coli, 15 (35.71%) Bacillus spp., 2 (4.76%) Klebsiella pneumoniae, 4 (9.52%) Corynebacterium spp., 1 (2.38%) Pseudomonas aureginosa and 2 (4.76%) Staphylococcus aureus were isolated and identified from bacterial vaginitis infections. As a result of antibiotic susceptibility; the agents are highly resistant against ampicillin, penicillin, erythromycin, amoxicillin, and sensitive to gentamicin, trimethoprim-sulphamethoxazole, cefuroxime, nalidixic acid, norfloxacin, tetracycline and streptomycine. As a result, E.coli and Bacillus spp. were highly isolated from vaginitis infections due to intravaginal sponges applications. It has been concluded that isolated agents were resistant to ampicillin, penicillin, erythromycin and amoxicillin and in general, sensitive to other antibiotics.
