Es wird ein Überblick über die Stellung des Schafabortvürus in der Gattung Miyagawanella gegeben. Epidemiologie, Pathogenese und Diagnose des Virusabertes der Schafe besprochen. Es wird auf die zur Zeit gegebenen Möglichkeiten einer Seuchentilgung eingegangen und dabei herausgestellt, class sich hierfür am besten die planmassige Anwendung einer Vakzine eignet, die einerseits einen guten Impfschutz verleiht und zum anderen nicht zur Ausbildung komplementbindender Antikörper in störendem Ausmasse führt . Bei der Seuchentilgung müssen positive Ergebnisse der Komplementbindungsreaktion ihre uneingeschrankte Be· weiskraft für eine natürliche Infektion behalten. Nach dem im Schrifttum niedrgelegten Befunden erfüllt die Lebendvakzine mit dem M. ovis Stamm «P» diese Anforderungen. Die in der vorliegenden Arbeit durchgeführten eigenen Versuche befassen sich mit der Verhessenıng dieses Impfstoffes. Eine grössesre Reihe vergleichender Pri.ifungen verschiedener Impfstoffansatze ergab, class die immunisierende Wirkung der Labendvakzine, die aus einer 10% igen Suspension hochgradig infizierter Dottersaacke in Tyrodelösung besteht, durch Zugabe von 0,25% Aliminiumhydroxyd erhehlich gesteigert werden kann, ohne class es bei den geimpften Schafen zur Ausbildung komplementbindender Antikörper'in störendem Ausmasse kommt. Weiterhin konnte gezeigt werden, class sich zur Erhöhung der Haltbarkeit des Virus von verschiedenen geprüften Verfahren am besten esine Lyophilisation in 7,5 % iger Glukose- Magermilch beva-hrt. Die Ampüllen sind unter Vakuum abzuschmelzen und bei -20• Grad C aufzubewahren.

Koyun Virusi Abortu ve Mücadelesi

Öz

Bu mesaide koyun abort virusunun, Miyagawanella sınıfı içindeki yeri hakkında kısa bir bilgi verilmiş o'lup, virusun Epidemiyolojisinden, patojenitesinden ve teşhis usullerinden bahsedilmiştir. Yine bu araştırmada hali hazırda mevcut imkanlada salgının erodikasyon çareleri araştırılmış ve burada en iyi metodun bir taraftan iyi bir bağışıklık veren diğer taraftan da şaşırtıcı ölçüde komplementi bağlayıcı antikorların teşekkülüne sebeb olmıyacak bir aşının planlı şekilde tatbikinin uygun olduğu kanaatine varılmıştır. Salgın eradikasyonunda, Complement- fixation reaksiyonundan alınacak müsbet sonuçların tabii bir enfeksiyon için kat'i bir delil teşkil etmesi şarttır. Literatür bölümünde zikredilen belirli şart ve talepleri M. ovis' in «P» suşu le hazırlanan canlı aşı yerine getirmektedir. Mevzubahis bu mesaide yapılan kişisel deneyler'le adı geçen aşının tekemmül ettirilmesine çalışılmıştır. Çok sayıda çeşitli aşı tertipleriyle yapılan mukayeseli denemeler; yüksek derecede enfekte yumurta sarısı keselerinden Tyrode eriyiğinde hazırlanan %10 luk suspansiyona %0,25 oranda AL (OHh katılmakla elde edilen canlı aşının bağışıklık verme yeteneğinin bir hayli yükseltilebileceğini göstermiştir . Ki bu aşı aşılanan koyunlarda yanıltıcı ölçüde komplementi bağlayıcı antikorların teşekkülüne sebeb olmamaktadır. Ayrıca denenen çeşitli metodlarda, virusun dayanıklılığının en iyi olarak %7,5 Glukozlu yağsız süt içinde liyophilize edilmesiyle arttırılabileceği anlaşılmıştır. Ampüller vakuum altında eritilmek suretiyle kapatılmalı ve -20°C de buzlukta muhafaza edilmelidirler
