Boğalardan Campylobacter Fetus Subsp. Veneralis ve Campylobacter Sputorum Subsp. Bubulus İzolasyonu

Öz

Bu çaçlışmada, selektif izolasyon yöntemleri kullanılarak boğalarda Camyplobacter türleri araştırıldı. İncelenen 13 boğanın 4'ünden Campylobacter suşları izole edildi. Yedi yaşlı bir boğandan izole edilen suş C.fetus subsp. veneralis olarak identifiye edildi. İki ve dört yaşlarındaki boğalardan izole edilen iki suşun ayrımı C.sputorum subsp. bubulus olarak yapıldı. Beş yaşında bir boğada bulunan ve pasajlar sırasında kaybedilen bir suş katalaz pozitif Campylobacter olarak değerlendirildi. C.fetus subsp. venerealis penisiline C. sputorum subsp. bubulus suşları ise streptomisine dirençli bulundu.Campylobacterlerin veneral kampilobakteriozisteki rolleri gözden geçirildi ve bunun Türkiye'de ki durumu tartışıldı.

The isolation of Campylobacter fetus subsp. veneralis and Campylo'bacter sputorum subsp. buıbulus from bulls)

Öz

In this study, bulls were investigated for Campylobacter sp. by selective isolation technique. Four Campylobacter strains were isolated from 13 bulls. One strain isolated from a 7 years old bull was identified as C.fetus subsp.venerealis . Two strains isolated from 2 and 4 years old bulls were identified as C.sputorum subsp.bubulus . One strain which been lost during passages was isolated from a 5 years old bull and evaluated as catalase positive campylobacter. C.fetus subsp.venerealis was resistant to penecilline and C.sputorum subsp. bubulus strains were resistant to streptomycine. The role of Campylobacter strains in venereal campylobacteriozis was reviewed and its current status in Turkey was discussed.
