Fertilite Sorunu Olan Alman Sıcakkanlı Irkı Kısrakların Uteruslarından İzole Edilen Bakteri Profili ve Antimikrobiyal Duyarlılıkları

Öz

Endometritis kısraklarda ciddi ekonomik kayıplara yol açan önemli kısırlık nedenidir. Endometritis, çoğunlukla
bakteriyel enfeksiyonlar sonucunda ortaya çıkmaktadır. Patojen bakteriler, kısrakların fertilite problemlerine yol açabilmektedir.
Ayrıca yaygın kullanılan antibiyotiklere karşı direnç gelişimi, endometritisin tedavisinde güçlüklere yol
açmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Almanya’da fertilite problemi olan kısraklardan toplanan 342 adet uterus numunesi mikrobiyolojik
etkenler ve antibiyotik duyarlılığı yönünden değerlendirildi. Toplam 307 adet (%89,8) numuneden bakteri
izolasyonu yapıldı. Pozitif 307 numunenin, %12,7’si ß-hemolitik Streptokok %1,2 hemolitik Escherichia coli, %20,8‘i
E.coli, %4,4’ü koliform bakteriler, %12,3’ü γ-hemolitik Streptokok, %14,3‘ü α-hemolitik Streptokok, %2,9‘u maya ve
mantarlar, geri kalan %31,4‘ü ise 27 farklı bakteri izolasyonlarıdır. Kısrakların fertilitesini en sık etkileyen bakteriler
olarak ß-hemolitik Streptokok ve E.coli etkenlerine karşı antibiyogram testi uygulandı. Pozitif numunelerde üreyen
bakterilerin, 14 antibiyotiğe karşı duyarlılığı test edilmiştir. Tüm ß-hemolitik Streptokok izolatları florfenikol, seftiofur,
amoksisilin/klavulanik asit, amoksisilin ve sefkuinom’a duyarlıydı. E.coli’ye karşı, enrofloksasin, sefkuinom ve
kolistinnin %90‘nın üzerinde yüksek etki gösterdiği saptandı. Sonuç olarak, kısraklarda genital enfeksiyonlara yol açan
bakterilerin antibiyotik duyarlılıkları değiştiği için tedaviler bakteriyolojik kontroller ve antibiyogram sonuçlarına göre
yönlendirilmelidir.

Uterine Bacterial Profile of Germany Warm Blood Mares With Fertility Problems and Antimicrobial Susceptibility

Öz

Endometritis is an important cause of subfertility with a high economic impact in mares. Endometritis is
mostly associated with a bacterial infection. Pathogen bacterias can cause fertility problems in mares. Furthermore,
bacterial resistance to commonly used antibiotics leads to difficulties in the treatment of endometritis. Uterine microbiology
and antimicrobial susceptibility was investigated in 342 mares with fertility problems in a retrospective study in
Germany. Totally 307 samples (89.8%) were found culture positive. Amongst 307 bacterial isolates,12.7% were ß-hemolytic
Streptococci and 20.8% Escherichia coli, hemolytic E.coli, coliform bacteria,12.3% γ-hemolytic Streptococci,
14.3% α-hemolytic Streptococci, 2.9% mold and 31.4% 27 some other bacteria isolates. Antibiogram test was performed
to ß-hemolytic Streptococci and E.coli bacteria commonly resulted to fertility problems in mares. Antibiotic
susceptibility of the isolates was determined to against 14 antibiotics. All ß-hemolytic Streptococci isolates were sensitive
to florphenicol, ceftiofur, amoxicillin/clavulanic acid amoxicillin ve cefquinom. For E.coli 90% sensitivity rate was
determined against enrof1oxacin, cefquinom and colistin. As a conclusion, because antibiotic sensitivity of the bacteria
leads to genital infections in mares are changes; treatments of the genital infections should be directed with the results
of antibiogram and bacteriologic controls.
