Araştırma sonucu izole edilen mikroorganizmalar Klebsiella pneumoniae (%11.5),
Staphylococcus aureus (%10.5), Corynebacterium spp. (%7.5), Koagulaz Negatif Stafilokok’lar (%5.5), Streptococcus
spp. (%7), Enterococcus spp. (%2), Escherichia coli (%1.5), Proteus vulgaris (%1.5), Bacillus spp. (%1), Pasteurella
ureae (%1), Candida albicans (%1), Pasteurella pneumoniae (%0.5), Plesiomonas shigelloides (%0.5), Neisseria spp.
(%0.5), Flavobacterium spp. (%0.5) olarak belirlenmiştir. 96 adet idrar örneğinde (%48) bakteriyolojik üreme tespit edilememiştir.
Araştırmada incelenen Klebsiella pneumoniae izolatları Gentamisin’e %52.2 oranında duyarlı bulunurken,
Sulbaktam-Ampisilin’e %87 oranında, Kanamisin’e ise %52.2 oranında direnç geliştiği tespit edilmiştir.

Yıl 2012, Cilt: 23 Sayı: 2, 64 - 69, 31.12.2012

Öz

In this study, a total of 200 urine specimen were collected from owned dogs with urinary system infection
in the region of Izmir province and bacterial isolation, identification and antibiotic susceptibility were detected. The
microorganisms isolated from these urine samples are Klebsiella pneumoniae (11.5%), Staphylococcus aureus (10.5%),
Corynebacterium spp. (7.5%), Coagulase Negative Staphylococci (5.5%), Streptococcus spp. (7%), Enterococcus spp.
(2%) Escherichia coli (1.5%) Proteus vulgaris (1.5%) Bacillus spp. (1%), Pasteurella ureae (1%), Candida albicans
(1%), Pasteurella pneumoniae (0.5%), Plesiomonas shigelloides (0.5%), Neisseria spp. (0.5%), Flavobacterium spp.
(0.5 %), respectively. No bacterial growth from out of 96 (48%) specimen was detected. While the isolates examined in
this study was found susceptible to Gentamicin in the ratio of 52.2%, the isolates were also found resistant to Sulbactam-
Ampicillin in the ratio of 87%, and resistant to Kanamicine acid in the ratio of 52.2%
