Öz

The main purpose of this study is to set the expectations of career change, perception ,and leadership styles of Generation Y. In this study,individual traits of Generation Y and their effects on business life have been investigated.Generation Y-Management relationship has been questioned in context of leadership style expectations and the point of view of Generation Y into management and managers has been evaluated

Y Kuşağının Kariyer Algısı, Kariyer Değişimi Ve Liderlik Tarzı Beklentilerinin Araştırılması

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, y kuşağının kariyer algısını, kariyer değişimi ve liderlik tarzı beklentilerini belirlemektir. Y kuşağının bireysel özellikleri tespit edilmiş ve bu bireysel özeliklerin iş yaşamına etkileri incelenmiştir. Y kuşağı-yönetim ilişkisi liderlik tarzı beklentileri sorgulanmış, Y kuşağının yönetime ve yöneticiye bakışı yönetim fonksiyonları kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. 543 çalışan y kuşağının çalışma koşulları faktör analizi ile tespit edilmiş, demografik verilere dayalı değişkenlerden etkilenme derecesinde cinsiyet değişkeni için t-testi ve yaş, eğitim, sektör, çalışılan pozisyon için kruskal Wallis testi yapılmıştır. Y kuşağının liderlik tarzı beklentileri ile ilgili görüşleri ortalama ve standart sapmalar ile belirlenmiş ve literatürü destekleyen anlamlı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
