In this article, the idea movement, which Sezai Karakoç conceptualizes as Resurrection,
is evaluated as an educational method. Although the movement itself is considered
as a direct educational process, Karakoç’s opinions on direct education-schooling are
also included in the article. Concepts such as opinions that can be the source of education
philosophy, moral development of individuals, methods and techniques in schooling,
success are turned into the subject of researches. In this paper, which is tried to bring the
opinions of Sezai Karakoç together with the education that spread over his works, a descriptive
attitude was mostly observed. In addition, evaluations were made on the subject.
On the other hand, various notion that emerged after the Tanzimat, in which education
began to be considered as a tool of public opinion in order to be able to see clearly which
ground the ideas of Sezai Karakoç were formed on, were also mentioned in the introduction
of the article. It was found out whether Sezai Karakoç’s moral development for
the placement of the phenomenon of love on the basis of justice in society, its relation to
the individual’s moral development process and whether education is seen as a means of
directing public opinion.
