Foliküler
dendritik hücre (FDH)’ler lenf
düğümleri, dalak ve tonsillalardaki lenf foliküllerinde bulunurlar. Antijen
sunan bu hücreler komşu lenfoid hücrelerin arasına uzanan çok sayıda
sitoplazmik uzantılar (dendrit) ile karekterizedirler. FDH’ler germinal
merkez mikroçevresinin bir anahtar
hücresel kompenenti olarak bi-linmektedir. Bu hücreler antijen antikor
kompleksini elde edip korur, hafıza B hücrelerini uyarabilir ve sonra daha
ileri T hücre aktivitesini uyarabilirler. Antijen, yerleştiği FDH’ler üzerinde
uzun zaman kalır ve bu özel-lik bazı enfeksiyon hastalıkları için çok
önemlidir. Bu derlemede FDH’ler geniş bir bakış açısından incelen-mişlerdir.
