Öz
Diş hekimliğinin birçok alanında yaygın olarak kullanılan kompozit rezinlerin sahip oldukları pek çok avantaja karşın mekanik özelliklerinin yeterli olmaması önemli bir dezavantajdır. Bu nedenle günümüzde mekanik özelliklerin geliştirilmesine yönelik çalışmalara ilgi giderek artmaktadır. Bu derlemede kompozit rezinlerin içeriğindeki organik matriks, inorganik doldurucular ve silanların modifiye edilerek güçlendirilmesine yönelik yapılan çalışmalar ele alınmıştır.

Composite resins are commonly used as dental restorative materials in dentistry and have many advantages, whereas their insufficient mechanical properties are among the main disadvantages. Therefore, efforts to improve the mechanical properties are now becoming increasingly popular. In this review article, studies on strengthening the composite resin by modifying the organic matrix, inorganic fillers and silans are discussed.
