Bu çalışmada pencere fonksiyonları
kullanılarak yeni bir kosinüs modüleli süzgeç bankası tasarımı önerilmiştir.
Önerilen yöntemde süzgeç bankasının prototip süzgeci Kaiser pencere fonksiyonu
ile Gaussian pencere fonksiyonunun kaskat kullanımıyla tasarlanmıştır. Önerilen
prototip süzgeç ve ayrık kosinüs dönüşümü kullanılarak tasarlanan süzgeç
bankası, dört farklı kanal sayısı ve farklı süzgeç uzunluğu değerleri için
incelenmiştir. Önerilen yöntem, Kaiser ve Gaussian pencere fonksiyonları kullanılan
yapılan tasarımlarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre önerilen
yöntemin tepe yeniden yapılandırma hatası (PRE) değeri açısından diğerlerinden
daha iyi sonuç verdiği görülmüştür. Önerilen prototip süzgecin literatürden
karşılaştırılan benzerlerine göre daha iyi durdurma bandı zayıflatması
değerlerine sahip olduğu gösterilmiştir.
