ÇİFT YAKITLI BİR DİZEL MOTORDA LPG YÜZDESİNİN PERFORMANS VE EGZOZ EMİSYONLARINA ETKİSİ

Öz

Bu çalışmada, tek silindirli, direkt püskürtmeli bir dizel motorda ikinci yakıt olarak %30 propan, %70 bütandanoluşan LPG’nin (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) dizel/LPG çift yakıtı içerisindeki oranının performans ve egzozemisyonlarına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Testler, maksimum tork devrinde (2600 d/d), maksimum torkun %20, %40,%60, %80 ve %100’ünde olmak üzere değişen yüklerde saf dizel yakıtı ve kütlesel olarak %20, %40, %60, %80ve %90 LPG içeren çift yakıt ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Test sonuçları, her orandaki çift yakıt ile is ve azot oksit(NOx) emisyonlarının azaldığını, karbonmonoksit (CO) ve hidrokarbon (HC) emisyonlarının ise arttığınıgöstermiştir. Ayrıca, fren Özgül Yakıt Tüketiminin (ÖYT) %40 LPG ile yüke bağlı olarak dizel yakıtına göre%3,5-15 oranında azaldığı ve egzoz gaz sıcaklığının da genel olarak dizel yakıtından düşük çıktığı görülmüştür.LPG’nin yakıt olarak kullanılması sonucu tek olumsuz etki olarak ortaya çıkan bir miktar CO ve HC emisyonartışı herhangi bir yöntemle düşürülebildiği takdirde, dizel yakıtı ile birlikte %40-%60 oranında LPG’nin yakıtolarak kullanılabileceği tespit edilmiştir.
