SMART TV FORENSICS: A NON-INVASIVE ANALYSIS OF SAMSUNG DEVICES WITH TIZEN 6.0

Öz

In this study, forensic analysis was performed on a Samsung smart TV with Tizen 6.0 operating system. The main purpose is to collect digital evidence from the smart TV and to explain the methods of obtaining forensic copies. Tools such as Smart Development Bridge (SDB), FTK Imager, SQLite browser, Dcode and Magnet Axiom were used in the analysis process. With this method, which does not require root access, important data was obtained by using the SDB backup feature in developer mode. The collected data includes internet history, TV and application usage data, account information, USB connections and wireless network information. The study presents a model for the forensic analysis procedure for smart TVs and contributes to the research in this field.
