Öz
This study has been carried out to make a contribution to viola education in the eightterm period in Music Teaching Programme of Fine Arts Department in Education Facultly. For this purpose, 70 folk songs were selected from TRT Music Department Publication Turkish Folk Music repertoire regardless of region. Findings were prepared in line with the suggestions of artists, and educators specializing in the subject. They were modified individually for viola playing technique for eight-term viola education. Since it is a fact that students growg up in the musical environment of Turkish Cultural Legacy, increasing interests and success in their instruments through developing the repertoire of viola in Folk Music, developing the universal bow techniques and skills, and using their instruments more productively in their professional lives are expected from the students, as a result of this studTürk Halk Müziği, Viyola Eğitimi, Viyola DağarıTurkish Folk Music, Viola Education, Viola repertoire Tam Metin

Bu çalışma, Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Bölümü Müzik Öğretmenliği Programı Ana Bilim Dalında sekiz yarıyıllık bir süreçte uygulanan viyola eğitimine katkı sağlamak amacı ile hazırlanmıştır. Bu amaçla TRT Müzik Dairesi Yayınları Türk Halk Müziği repertuarından bölge ayrımı gözetilmeksizin, tampere sisteme uygun olarak yetmiş türkü seçilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, bu konuda söz sahibi olan çeşitli sanatçı ve eğitimcilerin görüşleri doğrultusunda hazırlanıp, sekiz yarıyıllık süreçte uygulanan viyola eğitiminin her yarıyılı (Güz, Bahar) için ayrı ayrı düzenlenerek viyola çalma tekniğine uygun hale getirilmiştir.
