Objective: We aimed to evaluate the point of view of laparoscopic surgery in nurses working in surgical services and operating room.Material and Methods: This is a cross-sectional survey study. Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital General Surgery and Family Medicine Clinics, a 25-question questionnaire was prepared to learn the service and operating room nurses' views about laparoscopic surgery. The study was started after the approval of the ethics committee dated 03.01.2018 and numbered E-17-1701, and the questionnaires were conducted by face-to-face interviews by a trained interviewer. Results: Of the participants, 58 89.2% were female and 7 10.8% were male. 1 participant did not mark this section. The median age was 36 Min. 23, Max. 55, Interquartile Range IQR = 10 . The median duration of the study was 14 Min. 3, Max. 33, IQR = 14 years. The median time spent in laparoscopy was 5 Min. 1, Max. 20, IQR = 6 years. Nurses who worked for more than 10 years said that significantly more laparoscopic surgery did not complicate the follow-up and treatment of patients p = 0.002 . However, he stated that general surgery nurses did not make it significantly more difficult than other surgery branches p = 0.016 . In laparoscopic surgery, the operative staff mostly responded positively to the question of the risk of injury and infection of the surgical team p = 0.034 . In laparoscopic surgery, patients who did not undergo laparoscopy training mostly participated in the question of complications during surgery. However, nurses attending training stated that they did not participate p = 0.047 .Conclusion: Education, place of study, experience and service duration in laparoscopic surgery significantly affect the point of view of nurses
