The aim of this study
is to put forward how entrepreneurial women use digital media as
entrepreneurship tools. For this purpose, data were gathered from women digital
entrepreneurs through qualitative research techniques. The results of the
research showed that women are the entrepreneurs to evaluate their talents,
they prefer instagram and facebook as a digital entrepreneurship tool and they
use these digital media to reach more sales, orders, advertisements and target
audiences. The most important opportunity which participants perceive for the
digital media is to reach large masses. The results obtained from the study are
important for women who want to be entrepreneurs and for other entrepreneurs
who have difficulty in becoming traditional entrepreneurs. The findings of the
study provide the opportunity for the digital entrepreneurs to evaluate
themselves and other entrepreneurs with their own expressions to evaluate their
superiority and weaknesses. These findings could also be the source of a number
of studies in the literature, including digital entrepreneurship and in
particular women who work on digital entrepreneurship.
