Öz

Bir üniversite kampüsünde farklı özelliklere sahip mikroçevrelerde (çevre ve mekatronik mühendisliği bölümünde bulunan laboratuvar ve sınıflar, hukuk fakültesinde bulunan sınıflar ve kütüphane) toplanan iç ortam tozlarında Poliklorlu Bifenil (PCB)’ler ve Polibromlu Difenil Eter (PBDE)’lerin ölçümü yapılmıştır. 2 kimya laboratuvarı, 2 bilgisayar laboratuvarı, 5 sınıf ve 2 kütüphane salonunda ölçülen ortalama Σ14PBDE ve Σ15PCB değerleri sırasıyla: 88,47, 613,71, 281,9 ve 152,79 ng g-1 ve 82,81, 205,62, 27,64 ve 67,94 ng g-1’dır. En yüksek konsantrasyona sahip izomer BDE-209 (ortalama: 173,56 ng g-1), daha sonra BDE-153 (ortalama: 15,83 ng g-1) ve  BDE183 (ortalama:15,30 ng g-1) olarak belirlenmiştir. Diğer mikroçevrelere göre bilgisayar laboratuvarında yüksek PBDE ölçülmesinin sebebi bu kirleticilerin ihtiva edildiği mikroişlemcilerin ve eski bilgisayar kasalarının laboratuvarda bulunması olarak düşünülmektedir. Çevre laboratuvar-1’de yapılan deneyler ve kimyasal deposunun bulunması PCB seviyelerinin kaynağı olabileceği ancak bu kaynakların PBDE seviyelerini etkilemediği tahmin edilmektedir. PBDE/PCB oranının birden büyük olması binaların yapımında PCB içerikli malzemelerin kullanılmadığını göstermektedir.
