Öz

As a result of the pandemic, patients feel alone and isolated. Social isolation and disease caused by the Covid-19 epidemic can have psychological effects such as anxiety, insomnia, stress and depression as well as physiological effects on individuals. Telephone support comes to the fore in the healthcare system during the pandemic process. The purpose of this case report is; It is to provide nursing care in line with Gordon's Functional Health Patterns Model of the patient with a positive diagnosis of Covid-19, and to determine the importance of telephone support given during the hospitalization period and after discharge. In this case report, the effect of anxiety and stress on breathing pattern and sleep pattern of a female patient who was hospitalized in the same ward with her husband (Covid-19 positive) was examined. WhatsApp and phone support were used in the nursing care process. Nursing support provided by the telephone has also contributed to the increase in communication with the patient, improvement in the patient's breathing pattern, reducing the risk of loneliness and anxiety of the patient, eliminating sleep problems and overcoming the grief process in a healthy way.

Covid-19 Pozitif Tanısı Olan Hastanın Hastane Sürecinde ve Taburculuktan Sonra Hemşire Desteğinin Önemi: Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Pandeminin sonucu olarak hastalar kendilerini yalnız ve izole edilmiş hissetmektedir. Covid-19 salgınının neden olduğu sosyal izolasyonun ve hastalığın bireyler üzerinde fizyolojik etkileri kadar anksiyete, uykusuzluk, stres ve depresyon gibi psikolojik etkileri de olabilmektedir. Pandemi sürecinde sağlık sisteminde telefon desteği ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı; Covid-19 pozitif tanısı olan hastanın Gordonun Fonksiyonel Sağlık Örüntüleri Modeli doğrultusunda hemşirelik bakımının verilmesi ve hasta eğitiminde hastanede yattığı süre içerinde ve taburculuk sonrasında verilen telefonla desteğin öneminin belirlenmesidir. Bu olgu sunumunda eşiyle (Covid-19 pozitif) birlikte aynı serviste yatışı yapılan kadın hastanın Covid-19 hastalığına bağlı yaşadığı anksiyete ve stresin solunum örüntüsüne, uyku düzenine etkisi incelendi. WhatsApp ve telefon desteği hemşirelik bakım sürecinde kullanıldı. Telefon ile verilen hemşirelik desteğinin hasta ile olan iletişimin artmasına, hastanın solunum örüntüsünde iyileşmeye hastanın yalnızlık riskinin ve anksiyete düzeyinin azaltılmasına, uyku sorunlarının giderilmesine ve yas sürecinin sağlıklı bir şekilde atlatılmasında etkili olmuştur. olmuştur.
