The aim of the study was to compare the quality of life, physical activity, depression, anxiety, fatigue and sleep quality of women in the early and late postmenopausal period. Relational screening model was used in the study. Research data were obtained from 60 postmenopausal women who volunteered to participate in the study. Women within 1-4 years of postmenopause were included in the early postmenopausal period group, and women within 5-8 years were included in the late postmenopausal period group. Data were collected with demographic information form, International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Long form (IPAQ-LF), SF-36 Quality of Life Questionnaire (SF-36), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAQ), Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Evaluation of data was done with descriptive statistics, Spearman correlation and multiple regression analysis. In the study, it was determined that the physical activity levels of women in the early postmenopausal period were higher than those of the women in the late postmenopausal period. There was a negative, significant and weak correlation between physical activity level and postmenopausal time. A weak positive correlation was found between the emotional role difficulty, which is the sub-parameter of the quality of life scale, and the physical activity levels of the participants. It was found that the level of physical activity decreased as the time passed after menopause increased. It was observed that the decrease in physical activity in postmenopausal women negatively affected the quality of life.
