This study aims to examine the use of positive psychotherapy in nursing research through a bibliometric analysis method. Bibliometric analysis and scientific mapping techniques were employed in the research. Data were collected from the Web of Science database on December 28, 2024, focusing on studies conducted between 2008 and 2024. The data search was conducted using the English keywords "Positive Psychotherapy," "Positive Psychological Interventions," "Positive Psychology," "Nursing," and "Mental Health," targeting nursing-related fields, resulting in 249 publications. Software such as VOSviewer, Bibliotext, and Excel were used to visualize and map data during the analysis process. The findings revealed that the most commonly used keywords were "positive psychology," "depression," and "stress." The most active countries in author collaboration were China and the USA, while the UK, Canada, and Australia also stood out with strong collaborations. Furthermore, it was determined that the journal Frontiers in Psychology published the highest number of articles (n=9) related to positive psychotherapy. The bibliometric analysis results demonstrate a significant increase in studies based on positive psychotherapy in nursing research in recent years, though they are still not at the desired level. The broader application of positive psychotherapy in nursing education and clinical interventions could provide an effective tool for preventing psychosocial issues and addressing existing problems. Further studies in this field will strengthen mental health support approaches in nursing.
