Öz

Bruselloz, insan ve hayvanlarda Brucella cinsi bakteriler tarafından oluşturulan, zoonotik bir enfeksiyondur. Bu çalışmada, Erbaa bölgesindeki bruselloz seroprevalansı RoseBengal testi (RB) ve standart tüp aglutinasyon (STA) testi ile belirlendi ve bruselloz olarak tanımlanan serumların biyokimyasal değerleri incelendi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bruselloz ön tanısı ile laboratuarımıza gönderilen 854 hasta serumunun 54’ünde (RB) testi pozitif olarak saptandı. Bunların 50’sinde ise STA testi ile 1/160 ve üzeri titre tespit edilip çalışmamıza dahil edildi. Bruselloz seroprevalansı %5,85 olarak belirlendi. Serumların 33’ünde (%66) ESH, 42’sinde (%84) CRP, 13’ünde (%26) alanin aminotransferaz (ALT) ve 10’unda (%20) aspartat aminotransferaz (AST) yüksek olarak belirlendi. Ayrıca olguların 5’inde (%10) lökositoz, 8’inde (%16) lökopeni, 18’inde (%36) anemi ve 14’ünde (%28) trombositopeni mevcuttu. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, özellikle serum CRP ve ESH düzeyinin bruselloz tanı ve takibinde faydalı biyokimyasal testler olduğu düşünülmektedir.

Öz

Introduction: Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease caused by Brucella bacteria. In this study, the seroprelavence of Brucellosis was determined using RB and STA tests, and biochemical parameters in brucellosis-positive sera were evaluated. Material and Methods: RB tests yielded positive results in 54 out of 854 sera sent to our laboratory with the pre-diagnosis of brucellosis. STA tests yielded positive results in 50 sera with titers at or above 1/160, and these were included in the study. The seroprelavence of brucellosis was found to be 5.85%. The sera was found to be elevated 33 in (66%) ESR, 42 (%84) in CRP, 13 (%26) in ALT and 10(%20) in AST. Also, leucocytosis was seen in 5(10%), leucopenia in 18 (36%), anemia in 18 (36%) and thrombocytopenia in 14 (28%) patient sera. In conclusion, especially CRP and ESR levels to be a useful biochemical parameter in the diagnosis and follow-up of Brucellosis
