Üst Gastrointestinal Endoskopi Sonuçları: Zile Bölgesi. Tek Genel Cerrah Deneyimi

Öz

Amaç: İlçe devlet hastanesinde tek genel cerrahi uzmanınca yapılan üst gastrointestinal endoskopi uygulamalarının retrospektif olarak analizi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Aralık 2017-Mayıs 2018 tarihleri arasında üst gastrointestinal sistem endoskopisi yapılan toplam 436 hasta endoskopi sonuçları, yaş, cinsiyet ve işlem öncesi şikayetleri retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Değerlendirmeye 174’ü kadın, 262’si erkek 436 hastanın üst endoskopik incelemeleri alındı. Hastalar 18-90 yaşları arasında idi. Hastaların yaş ortalaması 50,13 idi. Hastaların 310’ unda (%71,1) antral gastrit,103 ünde pangastrit (%23,6), 69 hastada peptik ülser (%15,8), 97’sinde özefajit (%22,2) saptandı. Ayrıca hastaların öykülerinde en sık yakınma dispepsi (%72,8), diğer yakınmalar ise midede ekşime, bulantı, hazımsızlık ve epigastrik ağrı idi. Sonuç: Başta dispeptik yakınmalar olmak üzere üst gastrointestinal şikayetlerde endoskopik değerlendirme altın standarttır. Üst endoskopi sonuçlarında gastrit oranı oldukça yaygın görülmektedir. Bizim çalışmamızda %94 oranında gastrit, %2,3 oranında ise malingnite tespit edilmiştir. Bu da; erken gastroskopi taramalarının önemini vurgulamaktadır.

The Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Results: Region of Zile. A Surgery Specialist Experiences

Aim: The aim of this study is to analyse endoscopic procedures of upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract which were done by the only general surgeon M.D. in a county state hospital, retrospectively. Material &Method: 436 patients who underwent upper GI tract endoscopy procedures between December 2017- May 2018 were included in this study.The relationships between endoscopic results and age,gender,initial complaints of patients were evaluated. Result: Patients at the age of 18-90 were included in the study. The average age of 436 patients was 50,13 years and 262 patients were men. At the result of the study antral gastritis, pangastritis, peptic ulcus, esophagitis was revealed in 310 patients, in 103 patients, in 69 patients, in 97 patients, respectively. According to the patients‘ stories, the most common complaint is dyspepsia and the others are pyroisis, nausea and epigastric pain. Conlusion: Endoscopic examination is the gold standart method for the complaints of upper GI tract, especially in dyspepsia. Gastritis is commonly seen in upper GI tract’s endoscopy procedures. Malignancy rate is 2,3% in our patient series and this emphasizes the importance of early gasroscopic examinations.
