Anesthesia Management, in a Patient Who was Treated with Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy: Case Report

Öz

Treatment of peritoneal surface malignancies with cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy has been used since the 1990s, but has been more preferred in recent years. These patients may experience perioperative hypothermia, hyperthermia, fluid shifts, coagulopathy, electrolyte disturbances, renal dysfunction and severe pain in the postoperative period. Therefore, anesthesia management is quite complicated. Here, we presented our peroperative anesthesia management in a 33-year-old patient diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinoma accompanied by peritoneal carcinomatosis.

Öz

Peritoneal yüzey malignitelerinin sitoredüktif cerrahiye ek hipertermik intraperitoneal kemoterapi ile tedavisi, 1990'lardan beri uygulanıyor olmasına rağmen son yıllarda daha fazla tercih edilmektedir. Bu hastalarda peroperatif hipotermi, hipertermi, sıvı kaymaları, koagülopati, elektrolit bozuklukları, böbrek fonksiyon bozukluğu ve postoperatif dönemde şiddetli ağrı görülebilir. Bu nedenle anestezi yönetimi oldukça komplikedir. Biz burada 33 yaşında peritoneal karsinomatozisin eşlik ettiği mide adenokarsinom tanılı hastada peroperatif anestezi yönetimimizi sunduk.
