Öz

Professional nursing care for neonates undergoing surgery due to gastrochisis significantly influences the prognosis of the condition. Accurate identification of nursing diagnoses and the implementation of care plans tailored to these diagnoses contribute to the effective management of the recovery process and improvement of long-term health outcomes. Virginia Henderson’s Nursing Model provides a robust theoretical framework for the systematic identification of nursing diagnoses and the guidance of the care process, facilitating a holistic approach to neonatal care. In this case, the nursing process for a neonate undergoing surgery for gastrochisis was planned based on Henderson’s Nursing Model. Nursing diagnoses related to the care needs of the elderly were selected from the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association International classification system. During the care planning phase, evidence-based nursing care was provided using the Nursing Outcomes Classification and the Nursing Interventions Classification.

Gastroşizis Nedeniyle Ameliyat Olan Yenidoğanın Henderson Hemşirelik Modeli’ne Göre Hemşirelik Süreci: Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Gastroşizis nedeniyle ameliyat olan yenidoğanlarda profesyonel hemşirelik bakımı, hastalığın prognozu üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahiptir. Hemşirelik tanılarının doğru bir şekilde belirlenmesi ve bu tanılara yönelik bakım planlarının uygulanması, iyileşme sürecinin etkin bir biçimde yönetilmesini sağlamakta ve uzun vadeli sağlık sonuçlarını iyileştirmektedir. Virginia Henderson’ın Hemşirelik Modeli, hemşirelik tanılarının sistematik olarak belirlenmesi ve bakım sürecinin yönlendirilmesi açısından güçlü bir teorik çerçeve sunarak, yenidoğan bakımında bütüncül bir yaklaşımın uygulanmasına olanak tanımaktadır. Bu olguda, gastroşizis nedeniyle ameliyat olan yenidoğanın Henderson’un Hemşirelik Modeli ışığında hemşirelik süreci planlanmıştır. Olgunun bakım ihtiyaçlarına yönelik hemşirelik tanıları, Kuzey Amerika Hemşirelik Tanıları Birliği sınıflama sisteminden seçilmiş, bakım planı aşamasında ise Hemşirelik Sonuçları Sınıflandırması ve Hemşirelik Girişimleri Sınıflandırması kullanılarak kanıta dayalı bir hemşirelik bakımı gerçekleştirilmiştir.
