Öz

Devlet Arşivleri'nde sürdürülen tanıtım faaliyetleri günümüz teknolojilerinin sunduğu imkânlar bağlamında büyük oranda web hizmetleri üzerinden yapılmaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra çalışma kapsamında konu edilen arşiv belgeleri üzerinden eğitime destek faaliyetleri, Devlet Arşivleri'nin toplumun hemen her katmanına kanıtsal değer sunmasıyla ilgili bir diğer önemli etkinliktir. Sahip oldukları belgeler itibarıyle uluslararası öneme sahip yabancı devletlerin devlet arşivleri hizmetlerinden örneklerle açıklanmaya çalışılan tanıtım ve eğitim etkinlikleri ülkemizde bu konudaki çalışmalara ilham verebilecek niteliktedir. Devlet Arşivleri Başkanlığı adı ile Cumhurbaşkanlığı'na bağlanan Devlet Arşivleri içinde bulunduğu bu gelişim sürecinde tüm hizmetlerini yeniden gözden geçirmek ve modernize etmek durumundadır. Bu süreçteki yaklaşım ve fikirler ise dünyadaki gelişmelerden bağımsız olamaz. Bu bağlamda dünyanın en önemli arşivlerinden birine sahip ülkemizde; arşiv hizmetlerinin dışa yansıyan yüzü olarak görülen tanıtım faaliyetleri ile arşivin zenginliğini gözler önüne seren eğitime destek faaliyetleri de dinamik ve kullanıcı dostu uygulamalarla adından söz ettirmelidir.

Publicity and Training Activities in State Archives

Öz

Promotional activities of State Archives Office are
primarily performed through web services within the framework of the
opportunities offered by today's technologies. In addition, inclusion of
education support activities in the archive documents studied within the scope
of this research, is another important activity which allows State Archives to
provide almost every social layer with evidential value. Promotional and
educational activities intended to be explained by examples from state archive
services of foreign countries which have an international value thanks to the
documents they contain, could be inspiring for relevant studies in Turkey. In
this development process, State Archives operating under the Presidency of the
Republic as the Directorate General of State Archives, shall review and
modernize all the services it offers. The policies and ideas in this process
cannot be independent from the developments experienced in the world. In this
context, as a country possessing one of the most important archives in the world,
Turkey shall come to the forefront with dynamic and user-friendly practices in
promotional activities that are assumed to be the exterior face of our archive
services and education support activities revealing the richness of the
archives.
