Globalization is an international process of integration that arising from the sharing of products, ideas, cultures and world views. Globalization that triggered migration has exposed inequalities, introduced individuals to new worlds and caused mobility around the world. This mobility has also brought about the health and social problem. Almost half of migrants are women and women are among the risk groups that are affected by the process of migration at most. Among the reasons for migration of women are the safety of life and property, marriage, work, education and family reasons. Voluntary or compulsory migrations affect women's health positively or negatively. Women face challenges in adapting to different culture where they emigrate, taking advantage of healthcare, communicating and working life due to the language barrier. Women are disadvantaged because they are discriminated against as women and as migrants. Female migrants are also highly vulnerable to acts of sexual abuse, rape, and violence. In this review, solutions are discussed the effects of migration and globalization on women's health from a public health perspective.
