This study was carried out to examine the perceptions of children who are educated in public and private schools regarding narcissism. The Q-Method technique was used in the study conducted with phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research designs. The working group of the research consists of 30 students/participants studying at secondary schools in the city centre of Batman in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic years. Participants were selected based on purposeful sampling. In order to collect the data, the research form with ten (10) judgment sentences and the Q-string were used. After the data were collected, analyses were made by using the PQ-Method program. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that the perceptions of narcissism of the participants who were educated in private and public schools were gathered under two factors. When the factors were examined, it was found that the participants in the private school were partially in agreement and the views of the participants who showed a consensus were similar. Besides, participants in the public school, grouped under two factors, seemed to agree to some extent, but this consensus was not as high as the participants in the private school. Similarly, it was found that the level of correlation between factors of private school participants was slightly higher than that of public school participants. The results of the analyses made within the scope of the research were discussed and suggestions were made based on the results obtained.
