This article examines the relationship between critical human geography and ethics. Ethics is a branch of philosophy that attempts to think, understand, interpret, explain and analyze issues related to good-bad, right-wrong. It has different perspectives such as descriptive ethics, normative ethics, metaethics and critical ethics. Critical human geography, which is the counterpart of critical theory expressed as the views of the Frankfurt School in human geography, has a strong and reciprocal relationship with ethics. The issues that critical human geography deals with are also issues that fall within ethical boundaries. Ethics plays a key role in the definition and solution of problems that critical human geography deals with, such as social injustice, gentrification and racism. At the same time, critical theory uses ethical infrastructure and discourses while expressing the necessity of its own existence and struggling with the problems that are the reason for this existence. Critical ethics, which is the ethical perspective of critical human geography, uses the theoretical infrastructure of critical human geography and transforms it into practice. This brings about change. This change movement experienced against geographical problems has brought about transformative geography. This study was written to reveal the relationship between two concepts that respond to the need for change. These two concepts are the title of the research, critical human geography and ethics. However, it fills the gap in the literature created by the fact that critical human geography has not been directly addressed in the context of ethics. Throughout the research, an answer is sought to the question of “what kind of relationship exists between critical human geography and ethics?”
