The pandemic caused by the new Coronavirus (Covid 19) has brought serious changes on social, institutional and individual life routines. This study focused on the decision-making and job commitment of managers during the pandemic. The aim of the study is to reveal the effects of coronaphobia on decision-making styles and work commitment. In this direction, the conceptual framework of coronaphobia, decision-making styles and work commitment were given, literature was reviewed, and the analyses have been carried out accordingly. The sample of the study consists of the health administrators working in Rize. The data received from 51 health administrators were analyzed using structural equation modeling. According to the results of the study, coronaphobia has a statistically significant and positive effect on avoidance decision-making behavior, rational decision-making behavior and dependent decision-making behavior. Furthermore, it was concluded that coronaphobia has has no effect on intuitive decision-making behavior. Overall, it has been found that Coronaphobia has a statistically significant and negative effect on the willingness to work and commitment to work.
