In this study, the variables such as social loafing, gossiping and toxic leadership, which could have serious consequences for organizations, are discussed and their interactions with each other are examined. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 191 people and the data obtained were analyzed by adopting partial least squares based structural equation modeling. According to the results, it was concluded that social loafing positively affects gossiping and toxic leadership behavior, besides it was seen that toxic leadership affects gossiping positively. In addition, another result of the study reveals that toxic leadership mediates the relationship between social loafing and gossiping. Finally, it was concluded that tenure moderates the relationship between social loafing and gossiping.
