SAĞLIK EKONOMİSİ: KAVRAMSAL BİR YAKLAŞIM

Öz

Son yıllarda sağlık
hizmetleri ile sağlık hizmetlerinin sunumu ve finansmanı konuları özellikle
sağlık reformları ile birlikte yeniden tartışma konusu olmuştur. Bu sağlık
ekonomisine olan ilginin giderek artmasına neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada sağlık
ekonomisi ve sağlık ekonomisinin ilgi alanını oluşturan sağlık hizmetleri
farklılaşan özellikleriyle sunulmaktadır. Sonuç olarak sağlık ekonomisinin hem
çok disiplinli yapısı hem de sağlık hizmetleri piyasasının belirsizlik,
dışsallık gibi özellikleri nedeniyle ekonomi biliminin geleneksel yaklaşımından
ayrıldığı görülmektedir.

Öz

 

In recent years, the provision and the finance of health services have
been started to debate with the initiation of health reforms. This has caused
an increasing attention to health economics. In this study, health economics
and the market for health services are presented with their peculiar
characteristics. In sum, due to both the interdisciplinary structure of health
economics and the characteristics of health services market such as uncertainty
and externalities health economics differs from the mainstream economics.
